The
design of the bra “Our Hearts are in your Hands” is representative
of how delicate and how different each person’s heart is….we give
our heart willingly to the one we love, because we trust them to
hold sacred the gift and treat it with reverence and respect.
The bra glows in the dark as proof that the love in a heart
can be seen even in darkness. The colors displayed in the hearts
attached to the bra are symbolic of the rainbow of differences
transcending each of our hearts. This bra has 199 hearts attached.
One heart each for the 126 fatalities in 2008 and 73, one for
each of the fatalities up to Aug. 31st 2009 in the state of Arizona.
The Hands are also representative of the foundation, Hands of
a Friend and the delicate hands that designed and submitted this
entry.
